All 6th grade students are required to have a Tdap booster within the past 5 years.  Since many doctors will not administer this shot until the age of 11, most current 5th grade students will need the booster prior to entering Middle School.  Please review your child's immunization record to see if they have had a booster - this shot may be listed as T, TD, Dtap or Tdap.  If your child has not had the booster, please contact your healthcare provider and make an appointment for your child to receive the Tdap booster.
